News Flash

I took delight in the headline on Google News, but I figured everyone would pick it up, or it would go away quickly. It hasn’t; it’s still there on Google News, and it reads:

Alcohol rapidly confuses the brain

One might hope they did extensive research with numerous highly-paid volunteers for that study, but evidently there were only fourteen subjects. The groundbreaking part of the research showed that men who drank as little as two glasses of wine or a pint of beer were less likely to recognize that they had made a mistake! Repeat: Drunk men less likely to admit mistakes.

This story appears below another headline that reads:

Officials worry plague cases give New Mexico a bad name
