There is no expectation that the American army is a citizen army. (A dour comment to a humorous post ... but hey ... it's monday)

Posted by: M-É.Racine at July 12, 2004 12:45 PME-* ranks do not need to be US citizen. You are definitely strongly encouraged to enter the citizenship track (which is vastly accelerated, one year instead of five) but not required to.
