Missed Margaret awfully.
If you’d been here, it would have been even greater — so long as you didn’t bring an SUV.
Grace and peace,

I promise to leave my SUV behind. hope you got room for me to park the D-9 'dozer though. I find it's really handy for getting through interstate traffic tie-ups. woulda worked wonders for you in that Nantucket snarl. they don't move real fast, but ain't nothin' can stop em. and cops? shee-it! you just put up the blade and even mag .357 rounds can't get through that. then you just flatten their cars. like I said, the D-9 ain't much for speed, but it can beat out a couple flat-foots any day. I dunno, just a suggestion.
hi to Margaret and the kids. nice postcard, btw. I see you went to an impressionist beach.

This is a beautiful picture! After my grandmother died (in 1995), my uncle, who was tired of cleaning out her stuff, welcomed me to take any of the other stuff I might want. This included a large box of photos, plus my Grandma's portfolio from her art classes. There were some lovely paintings in there. Anyway, this scene is really beautiful.
Cheers, Julie
p.s. It was great having Si see to our kids this summer.
Hey, Julie! I wish I'd had the setting to make a finer photo; this image was shot handheld, in dim light, so it’s blurrier than the painting itself.
We’re so glad that Si worked out for you — we’re very proud of him! It was great to see Kaethe at the library the other day (I’d say, “My, how she’s grown,” but that would oblige her to roll her eyes. . . .
