The first front men were really the preachers. So I was drawn to music that addressed the spirit, probably because my own needed to be addressed!”

That was a great interview, wasn't it? I like what he said about the "lai lai lai" chorus in "The Rising;" how he was inviting people not only to sing with him, but stand with him.
