Beautiful

Sorry, too absorbed to blog. My copy of Beautiful Evidence arrived today.

I suppose I’m just weird for seeing profound connections between Tufte’s work on information design and biblical theology — but I do, and I wish I were in a position to teach those connections, to work with students who have recognized the connections, too.

Thanks for mentioning this book, which looks delicious. I'm a Tufte geek and have collected them all so far but didn't know about this one.

I work with technical documents, and it's amazing how hard it is to implement Tufte's principles: people love their non-data ink! I guess if it's worth writing, it's worth putting a fat border around, perhaps with a gray shade.
