Deirdre Good first pointed me to this image, and now I’ve pinned down the specifics of its provenance, so I wanted to post about it here (for the sake of declining memory). It’s a depiction of St Matthew (on the right — not sure who the other saint is) from the rood screen at St Agnes Church, Cawston, Norfolk.
