Glasgow And Me, Turning Point

As I was walking home from the laundry yesterday, I looked around and realized that Glasgow doesn’t feel exotic any more. It’s just a place. I live here.

  1. I’m glad for you. I actually remember the day I got that feeling in Glasgow myself, and it was probably around this same point in the term. I’d become a known entity in my usual coffeeshop, and pub, and grocery store, and so forth, and suddenly like part of the neighborhood in a wonderful way.
