Recommendation and Puzzle

When Simon recommends something, I follow up on it — so I downloaded Freemind promptly after he mentioned it, especially since I figured it would be helpful for the series of presentations I’ll be giving in the next three weeks. But it’s woefully underdocumented, I think, and I’m having a hard time figuring out how to benefit from it.

I’m making a pile of 4 x 6 notecards instead, for now.

  1. I’ve been searching for a while for some mind mapping software of OSX that works for me. So far no luck so I’ll give Freemind a go. I’ve played with Inspiration but it doesn’t quite do it for me. The free (but simple) mind mapping tool “MyMind” from http://www.sebastian-krauss.de/software/ might be helpful though if you’re wanting something simple.

  2. Hmmm, sorry you didn’t find it easy. I rather liked it. Maybe you’ll find today’s recommendation (of NeoOffice/J 1.1) more to your taste?
